I run a Latemodellite at meridian under the number 39. I reviewed the motor rules package and I am confused. In your rules it states that a 2300 ford w/ d-port head should weigh 2150, a 2300 ford w/ svo =2200, and 2300 ford w/ arca = 2250. I run a 2300 pushrod chevy w/ a stock production head. According to your rules I need to weigh 2353-50= 2305 lbs. Is this correct? All three of theese motors are capable of making more power than my motor and they all have aftermarket heads. Normally , I would be 50# less than a d-port w/o the pushrod credit. Could you review my concern and get back to me? Thanks!
