Lopez leads Washington drivers with first win in Eureka BCRA clash

EUREKA, Calif. - Brea Lopez was talking about it just a few hours before the main event. In her third full season racing midget cars she had yet to win a feature race and it was starting to get to her.
Worry no more. Later on Saturday night, the barely five-foot tall 18-year-old from Vader, Wash. charged forward from her 12th starting position to win the Bay Cities Racing Association event at Redwood Acres Raceway. Read more
Margeson overtakes Seidelman at Stateline

POST FALLS, Idaho - Tony Seidelman led every lap except one, and that one lap was the one that counted in the end.
Seidelman got loose on the final lap and Tacoma’s Evan Margeson took advantage, making the pass for the win in the Washington Midget Racing Association event at Stateline Speedway in northern Idaho. Read more

Melby, Funk, and Livernash at Gerhardt Classic

MADERA, Calif. - A trio of young Washington hot rods are expecting to race in this Saturday’s Gerhardt Classic at Madera Speedway in central California.
Ravensdale’s Dallas Melby, La Conner’s Evan Funk, and Spanaway’s Ethan “Snake” Livernash, all competitors from the Washington Midget Racing Association, are hoping to take part in the USAC Western Midget Car Series event, scheduled to include a very long 100-lap main event that will start as many as 33 midgets going three-wide when the green flag drops.
