Rainfall washes away NSCS at Willamette

LEBANON, Ore. - It’s not corporeal, but Mother Nature has joined Roger Crockett as a multi-time winner in 2007 as she has washed away her second Northwest Sprint Challenge Series event of the season.
Friday’s event at Willamette Speedway was to be the second of four scheduled visits to the 3/10-mile, high-banked clay oval this season. The NSCS is scheduled to return to Willamette on Wednesday, July 25 for the final Oregon race of Northwest Speed Week and again on Friday, September 8. Crockett, the NSCS points leader out of Medford, won last month’s NSCS main event at Willamette. Read more
