The finish of the ‘Wenatchee 200’ ARCA West Q-Racing Late Model Challenge Series had Jeff Jefferson winning for the second time this season. . Garrett Evans finished second and a last lap pass by Christian Roeder gained him a podium third. Gary Lewis did not have his best race but still won his first AW LMCS Championship. Read more

ELMA, Wash. - Shane Stewart and Mike Doyle have become one of the most scary good driver/owner combinations in 360 sprint car racing this year, and they proved it further on Saturday night, when Stewart scored a $10,092 victory in the inaugural Fred Brownfield Memorial Sprint Challenge at Grays Harbor Raceway. Ephrata Raceway Park was the host of the Northwest Legends touring series Saturday night.  Series point leader, Nick Johnson, padded his lead with heat race and main event victories.  Moses Lake’s David Mackin started in the front and stayed there to take the win in the Columbia Glass mini stock division.

Thompson Captures Second Win at Rent-Rite 100

Spokane’s Shelby Thompson won the INSSA Rent Rite race at Spokane Saturday night. (INSSA Photo) 

In two starts this season with the Inland Northwest Super Stock Association (INSSA), local favorite Shelby Thompson has picked up two wins, both at Spokane Raceway Park.  Thompson, the fast time qualifier of the day, took the lead on lap 20 of the 100-lap Rent-Rite sponsored feature and never looked back.  Thompson also picked up the $1,000 Rent-Rite bonus as the feature event winner. COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Roger Crockett lost much of his point lead Friday night at Willamette Speedway. Saturday night at Cottage Grove Speedway, he got most of it back, winning his seventh Northwest Sprint Challenge Series feature race in 15 starts. Read more

Eller, Brady, McCarthy Saturday winners at Stateline

POST FALLS, IDAHO – Newman Lake, Washington driver Mike Eller Jr. benefited from the race leaders mechanical woes to win the 50-lap feature event for the ICAR Racing Series Saturday night at Stateline Speedway.

Eller inherited the lead with ten laps to go when race leader Nathan Fleury slowed with motor problems. Fleury, who won the A dash, had led since the green flag and had developed a substantial lead before he slowed. Read more
