ASA AERO EXHAUST NORTHWEST TOUR AT YAKIMA

May 25, 2007

Yakima, WA – This Saturday night May 26, the ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Tour continues its season with race #2. Yakima Speedway will host the northwest’s best stock car drivers as they battle for 125-laps on the famed ½-mile oval.

The Matco Tools 125 presented by Trux Etc. will once again test these top notch drivers to the max. With warmer temperatures and a long race, each team will be searching for the fastest setup for their respective late model race cars.

Those expected for this Memorial Day weekend event are current point leader Tom Sweatman (Cosmopolis, WA), Travis Bennett (Ellensburg, WA) winner of the 2007 Apple Cup earlier this season, Jeff Barkshire (Auburn, WA) direct off the NASCAR Grand National Division West Series and Gary Lewis (Bothell, WA) current point leader of the Late Model Challenge Series.

Two icons of northwest racing Garrett Evans (E. Wenatchee, WA) fresh off a win a week ago at Yakima Speedway and Ron Eaton (Spanaway, WA) will try to show members of the ASA NWT on how they got their winning reputations.

Among other drivers expected are Jason Fraser (Snohomish, WA), Brandon Riehl (Boring, OR), Jay Sauls (Puyallup, WA), Kelly Tanner (Auburn, WA) a former Tour Champion, Matt Hall (Spokane, WA) and local racer Erick Hargraves (Yakima, WA).

In addition to the 125-lap feature for the Tour will be two of the speedway’s popular divisions. The Late Models and H&H Furniture Hobby Stocks will be on hand to make this a race night not to miss.

It all starts on Saturday May 26, 2007 with racing getting underway at 7:00 P.M.
