Australia’s Titan Racing suffers $200k robbery

Titan Garages and Sheds Racing suffered a crippling robbery on the team’s Sprint car transporter in Melbourne, ahead of the Australian Sprint Car Title. The transporter was broken into during the night, and the thieves stole two Sprint car race engines, and the team’s entire inventory of spare parts and tools.
Team manager Drew Kruck said that he and his father - legendary Sprint car team owner Reeve Kruck, suspect that people close to the team conducted the robbery. The equipment that was stolen was: one 410ci engine, one 372ci engine, two race cabinets with all of the team’s tools and spare racing parts, including: brake lines brake discs, air tools, radiator fittings, and even all of the nuts and bolts.
Drew and Reeve Kruck hope that somebody can come forward and help the team recover the stolen equipment. Anybody with information should contact Titan Garages and Sheds on 07 3803 6077 and ask for Reeve Kruck.
Duncan making gain towards third championship, ARCA

Mike Duncan spent the morning of February 7th attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the new race track that will replace the former Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield. It was only appropriate that Duncan would want to attend this ceremony. After all, Mesa Marin Raceway played a huge role in the development of his racing career that led to back to back championships in the NASCAR Grand National Division Autozone West Series. Read more

Officials at Stateline Stadium/Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho have released a completed schedule for the upcoming motorsports season at the quarter-mile asphalt oval. Over 56 events spanning April to October will make up the 17th year of operation under the promotion of brothers Joe & Walt Doellefeld. WWRA Back In the Saddle Again
MONROE, Washington - The Western Washington Racing Association,affectionately known as the WWRA, celebrates their 50th anniversary this year. They’ve released a tentative schedule, kicking off on April 15th at the beloved Evergreen Speedway,with the following dates: April 22nd, May 6th & 28th,- June 3rd & 10th, July 1st, 8th & 22nd.
Still competing are the Sky Valley Stocks, Lightning Trucks, Tornado Trucks, Road Runners, Coyotes and of course, the ever-entertaining Bump-to-pass Thunder Cars.
Running a Sunday schedule for the second season in a row, gates open at 11am with racing starting at 1pm. Admission to the grandstands are Free.
