WRAP-UP: Busch series win goes to Kenseth

Matt Kenseth took the lead for good on lap 129 and came home the winner of the February 24th Stater Brothers 300 NASCAR Busch Series race at the California Speedway in Fontana. Casey Mears, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle followed him under the checkers to complete the top five. NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers competing in this race, often referred to as Busch Whackers, claimed nine of the top ten places in the final finishing order. Read more

Each and everytime that the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series visits the California Speedway the fans can be guaranteed of one thing: the final laps are going to be a very wild, jump out of your seat, affair and it’s something everyone will be talking about the next day. The February 23d San Bernardino County 200 was no exception. When it as all over, Mike Skinner collected the win and Mark Martin was snake bit for the second time in six days. Read more

Tony Stewart Racing ready for AZ racing stop

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Paul McMahan and the No. 20 TSR/Bass Pro Shops/Eagle team are eager to head into the desert of Arizona this week, as they hope to capture their first World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series victory of the season. McMahan and the WoO Sprint Series will return to USA Race Park on Friday (March 2), and Manzanita Speedway on Saturday (March 3), for the first time this season. The No. 20 TSR/Bass Pro Shops/Eagle team won the spring event at USA Race Park in Tucson, Ariz., on March 4, 2006, in the series’ first outing at the facility. Read more

ELMA, Wash. - An addition and a minor change has been made to the inaugural schedule for the Northwest Sprint Challenge Series.

ELMA, Wash. - An addition and a minor change has been made to the inaugural schedule for the Northwest Sprint Challenge Series.Grays Harbor Raceway announced on Tuesday the turnover of control of the Elma, Washington track from Debbie Brownfield and Brownfield Promotions to George Wade of Great Northwest Promotions. Grays Harbor Raceway also announced the return of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series on Monday, August 27. In addition to that event, the Northwest Sprint Challenge Series has another race scheduled at Grays Harbor on Sunday, August 26. Read more

ELMA, Wash. – Change continues to happen at a rapid pace at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Wash. Two more changes took place Feb. 20: Brownfield Promotions Inc. turned over promotion of the track, and the World of Outlaws Sprint Series was added to the schedule. Steve ‘Bomber’ Adams will pilot the #500 Steve`s Performance Products Firebird in the first annual Frank Kimmel Enduro Nationals May 26th at the Kentucky Speedway.
