December 27, 2006
MERCED, CA – Officials from ARCA West and Paul Oil Co. have announced that “Q Racing Oil” has signed on as the title sponsor of the ARCA West Late Model Challenge Series.
Under the multi-year agreement, the series will be called the “Q Racing Late Model Challenge Series, presented by Paul Oil Co.” Q Racing and Paul Oil will each contribute money into the series’ year-end point fund and provide both Quaker State and Q Racing Oil to competitors in the Late Model Challenge Series, as well as the ARCA West Truck Series.
“With our prior involvement in ARCA West over the years, we know that this series will give us the marketing exposure in the Pacific Northwest and Inner Mountain Regions we are looking for in the racing world,” commented Mark Paul of Paul Oil Co. “Q Racing and Paul Oil Co. are proud to be associated with ARCA and their programs.”
2007 marks the debut of the ARCA West Late Model Challenge Series, which will compete at premier venues in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and BC Canada. The Late Model Challenge Series has operated in the Northwest region for the past seven years. “We will continue to operate the same race program and format. Now as part of the ARCA family, and with these new sponsors, we have a strong platform for growth,” said Jerry Losch, the new Vice President of Competition & Track Operations for ARCA West and its series.
“With this agreement and our continued commitment to the Pacific Northwest and the Inner Mountain Regions, we have a strong base for growth of the new ARCA West Late Model Challenge Series and the ARCA West Truck Series” said Richard Michaud, President of ARCA West.
