ARCA West Q Racing Late Model Challenge Series presented by Paul Oil
December 27, 2006
The eighth year for the Late Model Challenge Series is shaping up to be the best ever. Along with the merger of two of the West Coast’s premier racing associations, ARCA West and the Late Model Challenge Series (LMCS), ‘Q Racing Oils presented by Paul Oil Co.’ has signed a multi year agreement to be the series title sponsor. The 2007 season will become the start of a new chapter in Northwest Racing.
The 2007 season schedule for the ARCA West Q Racing Late Model Challenge Series presented by Paul Oil Co. will take the series to many of its staple NW tracks including Wenatchee Valley Super Oval, E. Wenatchee WA; Yakima Speedway, Yakima WA; Stateline Stadium & Speedway, Post Falls ID and Montana Raceway Park, Kalispell MT.
An exciting new venue for the series will be a trip to Vernon, B.C. Canada and the return to Roseburg, OR after a few years absence.
The series has kept with its racer friendly, every other weekend racing and a mid-summer break. This format has drawn many of the Northwest’s best late model stock car racers. In 2006 the series drew a total of 92 drivers and averaged 28+ cars at each race.
The Vice President of ARCA West of Competition and Track Operations, Jerry Losch is still in the process of adding one or two additional races to the existing 2007 schedule.
