Stateline to Host Three Legends Events

December 4, 2006

The Northwest Legends Car Series will make return appearances at Stateline Speedway in 2007. Three events; May 19, July 28, and August 25, 2007 will take place as part of Stateline’s spring and summer schedule of events.
The NW Legends Series featuring cars from Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Montana will headline one event and will run as a bonus show during a spring Northwest Modified event and at a late summer super stock special.

Joe Doellefeld, Stateline Speedway Promoter said the increasing popularity among fans and racing participants is astounding.
In 2006, the series contested three races with car counts in the thirties. Washington drivers Nick Carey, Randy Schaaf, and Rob Hawton claimed championships. Last year Spokane area kart racers joined the group under the Semi Pro division.

“More Inland Northwest families are finding it’s an affordable way to make racing a true family affair” Doellefeld said. “The series has proven to be well organized and an extremely well managed racing presentation.
