NORTHWEST PRO-4 ALLIANCE KICKS OFF 2007 WITH THREE EVENTS

Northwest Pro-4 AllianceThe newly formed Northwest Pro-4 Alliance has set its sights on 2007 to thank the outstanding race tracks that have continued to support four-cylinder late model stock car racing in the Northwest.
The Foreign Stock Car Racing Association (FSCRA) based in Seattle, Washington, along with Northern Idaho’s Northwest Late Model 4’s and the Meridian Speedway Late Model Lites, have joined in this alliance to bring a total of three blockbuster race events to South Sound Speedway, State Line Stadium & Speedway and Meridian Speedway to say thanks to each of these excellent facilities for their continued support over the years.
The Northwest Pro-4 Alliance is the collaboration of FSCRA’s Jerry Koepping, in conjunction with Northwest Late Model 4’s Brad Carpenter of Lewiston, Idaho, and Bob Coply of Boise, Idaho, to provide an exciting, fun and affordable race venue for the four-cylinder late model racers in the northwest US.  The three-race series will kick-off on May 26 & 27 at South Sound Speedway in Tenino, Washington, then move to State Line Stadium & Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho on June 23.  The series will wrap-up the season at southern Idaho’s Meridian Speedway on September 1.

Regional interest in the program has been strong so far, with several teams already signing-on for all three events, including:  2006 FSCRA Champ Wayne Dillon; 2006 Meridian Speedway Rookie of the Year Shaun Tubbs; 2003 FSCRA Champ Jerry Koepping; 2005 Northwest Late Model 4 Champ John Jackson of Lewiston, ID; and seven time Meridian Speedway Late Model Lites Champ Kenny Chandler,Jr.

The list of Sponsors for the series also continues to grow, with Crow Enterprizes, Aluminum Racing Products, Pyrotect and Performance Promotion leading the way, and negotiations are currently underway with additional companies .

After successfully bringing together the top three groups of four-cylinder late models in the Northwest to work together on this combined, three race series, the Northwest Pro-4 Alliance would like to extend an invitation to any other four-cylinder late model group or race team to join us.  And remember — NO MEMBERSHIP, NO ENTRY OR INSPECTION FEES  — just come and race and have fun!
