Donny Schatz Sprint Car Blanket Released
November 9, 2006
Jeremy Campbell Design Also Joins Product Line
BRACKNEY, PA — Brackney Hills Knitting has just released a new line of officially licensed knitted stadium blankets featuring designs of several major short track drivers of the past and present. The first offerings in their Sprint Car series are Donny Schatz and Jeremy Campbell.
The Donny Schatz blanket features his yellow Parker Store No. 15. Donny comes off a very successful season, having captured not only the World of Outlaws title but the prestigious Knoxville Nationals as well. The blanket of rookie contender Jeremy Campbell depicts the new paint scheme that he debuted at Knoxville.
Blankets from Brackney Hills Knitting have the designs actually knitted in, unlike some vendors that simply sew, silk-screen or embroider the artwork on. All of their blankets are 60″ by 60″, are made of machine washable acrylic knit and weigh four pounds.
Each blanket also comes in its own zippered vinyl storage bag. Also being released at this time are blankets featuring the Richie Evans 1980 season Pinto Modified, Dutch Hoag’s Modified coupe from 1968, Geoff Bodine’s Valiant Modified from 1971, Ken Schrader’s Red Baron Pizza-sponsored dirt Late Model and Steve Paine’s DIRT Modified.
These blankets are available exclusively from Brackney Hills Knitting and are not found in any stores. All blankets are $59.00 each, plus shipping and handling.
